Different switches support different network protocols, various fiber optic interfaces(SM, MM, SF, CWDM, SFP etc.) and come with a variety of fiber optic connectors and power supply options.

Designed to address the different needs and specific network topologies (metro network core, office networks, residential networks, and networks deploying IP based services) switches are based on advanced switching technology and functionality, supporting advanced management, access control, and PoE support (PSE and/or PD). Installation switches are easily mounted in wall/cable trunks, sub-floor tanks, and open space.
