WizLAN announce the release of Wiz-INIT - Remote Configuration Tool for WizLAN Managed Devices

Wiz-INIT is an easy to use cross platform Java based application that allows remote initial configuration, through the LAN, of WizLAN managed devices. Wiz-INIT eliminates the need for direct CLI connection to the device. 
Wiz-INIT allows to define the IP parameters of the device as well as provides options for downloading SW versions, restoring factory defaults, resetting the device and more.
Wiz-INIT comes as a parallel initial configuration option to the RS232 CLI port. The Wiz-INIT enables remote configuration, eliminating the need to physically reach the device. Future/new versions of WizLAN products will not carry external CLI port; the initial configuration will only be possible using the Wiz-INIT application.
The Wiz-INIT application is now available for downloading in WizLAN website (www.wizlan.com) – in SUPPORT --> Download Zone --> Tools.
